sarah's bella sketch challenge

Good morning friends! It sure has been a busy week here at our house with no real time to get any of my fun stamping in...darn it! This card today I made a few days ago from my friend Sarah's Bellaholic Anonymous Sketch Challenge for November.

For this card I used some patterned paper that I got at a local scrapbook store. I cannot remember who the manufacturer is but the stripes are on one side and the polka dots on the other. Very cute paper with a great combination of burgundy, blush, brown, and white. Anyway, I stamped Lattebella on my favorite PTI white and colored her with my COPIC markers. This card opens on the right where the dots end so I created a simple belly band with some chocolate chip card stock and a "cheers" stamp. I attached Lattebella to the belly band so all you have to do is take the belly band off to access the inside of the card.

God has been talking with me about sharing a scripture with a woman that I don't really know but is having a hard time right now so I decided to use this card to write to her. I hope that she likes it and that my words make sense to her.

I hope that you will all try out Sarah's sketch...it is a fun one! I'm working on another card with a sketch from CPS and hope to finish that today. I'll also do some shopping for Thanksgiving dinner. How are your preparations coming? Even though it is usually just my very immediate family for Thanksgiving I still love it! It is such a warm, yummy time!

I'm off to get all my stuff done! I hope that you take the time to really enjoy your day!

What a lovely card. My prayers go with it as you send it to your new friend.

Still haven't gone shopping! It's just going to be Me, Josh and the kiddos this year, ALL extended family will be gone. So we may just go to the movies! LOL!

Wonderful card! Love the colors! I'm sure that the woman who receives it will be blessed.
I don't have anything ready for Thanskgiving as I've been sick. UGH!

I love it! But, you already knew that. ;)

My Thanksgiving preparations are done. You know, because I don't have to cook. I just show up at grandma's house. hee hee. I think I'm going to make something this year to bring along though. She always tells me not to, but I'm not really good at listening. Maybe you've noticed. ;) LOL.

I need to start on my shopping still. I'm a last minute kind of gal this year. Usually I'm so prepared, not this time! Ugh!
