last graduation card

So here is the card that I made for the sweet young lady that works in the nursery at my church. She is graduating from Central this year (with a 3.97 gpa...wow!) and as we have in the past my committee decided to give her a card with a Visa gift card inside along with out thanks. She really has done an amazing job with the nursery and our kids. All the kids love her!

Anyway, this card melds two stamp company's together. PaperTrey Ink's Women of Life set and Cornish Heritage Farms Motivational Centers. As you can tell the colors are Basic Black, Groovy Guava, Old Olive, River Rock (the only part
about the card I don't like) and PTI White. I also used SU!'s Groovy Guava Designer Prints paper. Accessories would be Dimensionals and Groovy Guava stitched grosgrain.

I must say that I'm totally in love with Lisa's Motivational Centers sentiment set. I love what they all say and you really should go check them out! There are lots of exciting things going on over at CHF!!!

It is an exciting day at work today. I get to, for the first time in three years, interview a young lady for the intern position that we have for the Children's Ministry! It is difficult to fill this position usually as it doesn't pay enough for a person to stay in town to take the job but makes an excellent 2nd income. The intern gets to go to camp, help with VBS, and plan/execute a short summer program. All in all it is a fun job...for the right person. I really hope it works out as I think a summer program would be great for the church!

Alright...I'm done babbling! Have a great Monday and I'll "see" you tomorrow!

What a lucky lady to receive such a beautiful card. I'm not a huge fan of river rock either. Take care!
