I have seen these cute little tic tac toe sets going around the internet and because I knew we'd be at the play early last night I decided to whip one up for Kyler and I to play.
I just used a 4x4 coaster that I have here at home. Covered it with some Dashing Designer Paper and used thin strips of Old Olive card stock for the grid. For the playing pieces I used images from the soon to be retired set Hung Up on the Holidays punched them out and added them to coordinating colors of plain card stock...again in Old Olive and Real Red. The title was printed off my computer, I added a couple of more images and put it on the coaster. I didn't want to dress it up too much as I knew we'd actually be using it. And...we did! It was fun to have something portable and easy to play with while we were waiting.
Oops! Jon just called for me to pick him up so I'm out the door! Have a great Saturday!

How neat! You're always busy aren't ya,lol!!!
that is so cute! Nice job.
Thank you for the great idea. I used your idea but changed the tic-tac-toe boards to be sports for boys and flowers for girls. I then decorated a box to hold them for each child. You always have great ideas on your blog. That's why I love it!!!!!
