Baby Thank Yous and some Blog Candy!

These are the thank you note cards that I made for the mom-to-be. There are 6 with stars and 6 with the lines. They will go with the Jacob's ladder and, hopefully, a decorated acrylic paint with goodies for the mom for the shower today. Yes, today...I'm such a procrastinator! Did you notice how NOT perfect my cards are? I didn't really place the ovals in the same place on each card. It didn't but me at the time but now, looking at this picture, it is driving me crazy!

Okay, I am long overdue for giving away some blog candy. This time...it is a surprise! Think fun accessories! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post by Sunday, July 8th at noon to be entered in. Please only one comment per person.

How I made the cards:
Stamps: Bundle of Joy, Thank You Lockhart Stamps
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink's White Cardstock, Creative Imaginations Designer Paper, Barely Banana, Bashful Blue
Ink: Stazon, Brocade Blue
Acessories: SU! Corner Rounder, SU! Small Oval Punch, Giga and Mega Oval Punches

I just love your card, and the jacobs ladder is adorable, I learned how to make these on an online yahoo group, I have put in an order for some coasters so I can play more, they make a great conversation piece for a coffee table, or in my case, for family that doesn't get to see my g'daughters very often, they will have their supply of mini books of their growing years.
Great blog too, I have one with nothing on it, can't seem to get into doing anything with it, but I have yours and a few others bookmarked, I check back all the time.

Lori, those thank you are absolutely adorable I love the jacobs ladder and keep reading the tutorial, just haven't gotten brave enough to try it yet! Also, with the paint can I think this is all a fabulous gift that everyone at the shower will love, especially the recipient. Thanks for the chance to win some blog candy, love your blog, and got a real kick out of how well Todd stamps.

Very, very cute! Almost makes me wish I was going to have another little one. Nevermind, that was such a story! Even a boatload of these cute cards couldn't convince me to do that. LOL

I really do love your cards, though.

Sounds like some interesting blog candy! I don't think the difference in placement of the image is bad at all - bet the new mom wouldn't notice anyway. Really pretty & sure to be appreciated!

Your thank you notes are very cute. I am not brave enough to do the Jacob's ladder. I read through the instructions several times. One day I will try. Keep up the great work. Thank you for all you do. Have a great weekend. Cheryl B

Great cards. I'm sure that your friend will love her gift assortment especially since they were made with love.
A friend just purchased this set for her upcoming arrival so I passed on your card idea and blog site to her.

Oh, I love the cards! But I'm sooooo sad about your sunburn...I burned my whole back under a heat lamp over 30 years ago (in college) and I know how much that hurts! I surely hope it heals soon. {{{{HUGS}}}}

Those are such cute baby cards! Thanks for the great ideas, you do such super work.
Your sunburn made me cringe! It hurts so badly, doesn't it. Hope you feel better soon- aloe vera gel will help to soothe it.

Laurie, Like I told you earlier today via email. I love these. You need to make some using only SU!© cardstock and papers. The card style is something I saw from Dawn, and now I can make them to fit into a invite envelope! yeah. Your work has been great. can't wait to see you use more of your SU products:-)
