Another Valentine's Day Card

Good morning! I know if you are a Steelers fan you feel like this today...Smiley from millan.net. But if you are a Packers fan you feel like this today...Smiley from millan.net! I'm so happy to be a Packers fan...what a great game, huh? I can still hardly believe that they won! Congrats to the Green Bay Packers! (Side note...if you are looking for Whatnot Monday...we do not post on Monday's when there has been/will be a clear stamp release so go check that out right HERE.)

Onto my card today. I thought of another Valentine's Day card that I wanted to make and thought this super sweet Sheep Love image from Doodle Pantry would be perfect. I decided to go with the pre-colored version to speed up the card making process a bit. I just used some old SU! patterned paper and a big 'ole nestie heart to make this card. The sentiment came with the sheep images and I got them free from the CDAC hop that I told you guys about HERE. The hop is closed now but you can still check out Doodle Pantry (and some of my other favorite digi companies) on CDAC. If you saw this card in real life you'd see that all the heart either have star dust glitter or clear glaze on them to get them to really stand out.

This card will be submitted for several challenges including this week's Doodle Pantry challenge. All you have to do is make a card with one of their images and you will automatically receive a super cute digi set for free just for participating! This also works for Sentimental Sunday's challenge which is Valentine's Day, Stamp and Create's theme for the month is Love, Cupcake Craft Challenges is add some red, and Stamping for the Weekend which is also Valentine's Day.

So, there you have it! I hope that you had a fantastic weekend and that it will spill over and fill your week with happiness too!

Sunday Share: Do Something

Good Sunday morning all! With the excitement of the Super Bowl you might have thought I'd skip over my Sunday Share today but...no, I found this great video about 'doing something' that I think you'll love. I love how Andy says that God wants to bless you and will bless you but you have to do something. Don't have a job...volunteer somewhere, want to lose weight...take the first step. That first step in faith can be the hardest for some people but once you've done it then it is one step after another, one good decision after another, and the next thing you know you are headed down the road that God has for you!

So, have you planned out what you are going to eat today? I know there will be lots of foods that may not be on your healthy eating plan at those parties you are going to go to. So...make a plan (or...eat before you go!) of what you are going to have today and stick with you so you can stand in the kitchen or at that buffet and be able to say to yourself...this is it. I am satisfied with my food and proud of myself for sticking to my plan.

Personally we will just be home for the Super Bowl and that provides the most control. I have bought BBQ Pork for sandwiches today and these super cute mini-seasoned potatoes...yum! While I will make some foods for Kyler that I aren't on my healthy eating plan I know I have the knowledge and want to within me to not eat them! I think some popcorn will be in order this afternoon as well!

So, go...enjoy your day whether it be watching the super bowl or crafting in your craft space but do it with the knowledge that Jesus loves you just the way you are but doesn't want to leave you there either. He desires a deeper relationship with you so spend some time with him today...and everyday!

#1 Baby!

Hi all! How is your Saturday going? I'm just popping in with a quick post today as I don't post crafty stuff on my blog on Sunday's so I had to get this card up today!

I think just about everyone knows that the Superbowl is tomorrow annnddd you probably know my entire family are Green Bay Packer fans. Smiley from millan.netWhat kind of Packer fan would I be if I didn't make a special card in honor of their trip to the Super Bowl this year?

So...this card is made with miscellaneous papers in my stash (I have all boys so football, baseball all those types of papers are in my stash). I knew I had to use the cute Cocoa football image and well, again, what kind of Packer fan would I be if I didn't make it so Cocoa was a Packers fan too? So clearly Cocoa had to dye his fur green and yellow for the big day! As for my #1...well, the Packers are always #1 to us no matter the outcome of the game! Oh, and I used The Sweet Stop sketch SS94 for this card. Perfect, don't ya think? This card also works for the Stamp Something Challenge this week, and the PaperPlay Challenge this week.

So...have a wonderful rest of your day, enjoy the game tomorrow! Smiley from millan.net

Clearing the Clutter Challenge

Hello! Welcome to a very late Friday post! I wanted to be sure to post for our Clearing the Clutter Challenge but I just didn't have time to get something done to get a post up "on time."

So...how is this cutie card a CTCC card? Well, a couple of days ago I decided to clear off my stamping area a little bit (boy does it look better) but I just couldn't clear off this stamp and paper before I made a card with it so to further help me clear the clutter I went ahead and made a card! Good deal, huh? Anyway this cute cupcake shaped card is from My Scrap Chick and is an SVG file. Of course the image is the cutie Marci from La-La Land crafts. This card is very basic but I still think it has a cute factor for sure!

So...wanna see what Tana did for her Clearing the Clutter challenge post? Just go HERE to see! It is a neat one for sure!

Alright, I'm off to create for tomorrow's post! I'm looking forward to it, too! Have a wonderful Friday evening!

McMahon 5 Designs Day

Happy Thursday everyone! Can you believe we are on the downside of the week already? Yay! It is almost Friday!

As you can tell from the post title and the post itself it is another McMahon 5 Designs new release day! Today I get the pleasure of showing off one of Fairy Doodlers new penguin images. Isn't that couple just adorable? I cut the image out, colored them and then designed the card around them using the Wee Memories sketch for this week.

I even decorated the inside of of my card today but only because they weren't used in the main card. I have been greatly enjoying using all of my Valentine goodies...embossing folders, Big Shot dies, MFT dies...fun stuff!

Well, why don't you guys check out all the fantastic crafting below and make sure to check out and leave comments at the individual design team members blogs! Have a wonderful day!

You're So Sweet

Good morning everyone! I hope that if you are in the path of the newest winter storm that you are safe, warm and dry!

Today I thought I'd show you a card that I made for last week's Crazy 4 Cocoa challenge, yes I said last week...this ends up being a day late and I could just enter it in this week's but I think I want to use a different image for this week so...it is late. I am right on time for Sketches by Carly. This sketch is good for two weeks and is just fabulous! Check it out HERE.

I used my Cosmo Cricket Material Girl patterned paper for the first time with this card. The patterns are so cute in that collect and the colors? Fabulous! And of course this is Cocoa. I used the digital image of Sew Happy Cocoa and the sentiments that are a companion ( just played with the two in PSE to get the sentiment where I wanted it) although they come in clear stamps as well. Down at the bottom are three clear buttons, two flower one heart, with some twine tied in the middle. Just a fun, unassuming little addition.

Well, I guess that is it for today. Please be safe if it is cold and yucky where you live! See you tomorrow for the McMahon 5 Designs weekly new release!
