Finally Done!

Finally! For some reason this card was totally kicking my butt! I picked this image to use this week because I am organizing a bridal shower that will take place in a couple of weeks and I thought it would be a good way for me to get my card done. Great idea right?...

After picking the image I decided to use this really neat card shape that I saw HERE on Kris's blog. (I cut it wrong about 4 times before I read the directions correctly...then it was easy so read the directions and follow them, k?) Anyway, I printed, colored, and cut out the image. Even matted it on the color I wanted...then I embossed the center portion of the card and then...I was stuck. I wasn't sure what to do with it. I slept on it last night and woke up with a picture of what you see on my blog today in my head. I added a couple of rolled flowers, the sentiment, and my all time favorite ribbon. Oh, and I used some Tsukineko Shimmer Spritz in Sparkle on every piece of cardstock that you see including the flowers. It is so lovely in real life. I entered this into the PaperPlay Challenge for this week which is embossing.

Below is the rest of the day's images and artwork. I hope you enjoy it and thanks for stopping by!

Your card is gorgeous. Great job!!! I hate getting stuck on cards but I have learned, like you, the best thing to do is to sit on it and wait for some inspiration.

OH NOOOO... gawsh, I'm so sorry Lorie that you had to cut it 3-4 times!! That's about like me with the first instructions I got in CENTIMETERS! So I thought doing it in inches would be much simpler. ANyways... Maybe a video tutorial next time huh?? *Ü* For the record your card turned out AMAZING!!! It's so pretty, love the foral embossing on the sides and the pretty yellow rose on thed ress. AWESOME JOB!!!
Hugs,
Kris
