Happy Wednesday! Can you believe it is the middle of the week already? This week is fair week in our town. Tomorrow we will be taking Kyler and a friend to the fair so they can ride the rides and eat yummy fair food. Okay, I might eat some fair food, too!
Something you didn't know is that Monday night to Tuesday afternoon Todd and I were gone. I decided I wanted to spend some time away with him so we went to one of our (okay, maybe my) favorite places and just enjoyed each others company. That leads me to today's card.
I made this card to give to Todd while we were gone. Guess where the stamps are from? Yep, you got it! Verve! This is from their new set called Love Story. I used the i {heart} to stamp sketch for the week. The patterned paper is from MME and I think it is a little older but I still love it as it has lots of yellow in it and Todd's favorite color is yellow.
As a side note we have a little sign in our house that says what the sentiment says. I love it as it is so true. Todd is truly my best friend and who better to be married to than your best friend?
Anyway, have a wonderful day!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful story about Todd...
Love the bright colors! Have fun at the fair!
Beautiful card and hope you had a nice trip with hubby. Love the colors on this card and that sentiment is so true!
Wonderful card, Lorie! So nice that the two of you got away for a litte while.
Love the card!! Glad you got away together.
Are you a deep fried twinkie sort of gal?!
Awww.... That is such a lovely card Lorie! Todd is one lucky guy! =) Hope you have a great day at the fair tomorrow!!
This turned out great. I love the paper you chose and that it has hearts on it. So pretty!
How wonderful that you guys got away for a day!! Wonderful card!!
So true, so true...and gf, THIS card is awesome!! I love the bright colors and fun circles and sentiment. That's awesome that you got him away for a while. I so need to do that with mine. He's been working so hard lately at work and then has honey-dos at home. Don't mean to, but you know how it goes. Always something that needs done. I think I'll go put that roast in for tonight. Fix him a good meal (or try!) LOL.
Have a great day.
Perfect! I love those papers. You're so good to make cards for Todd. I never remember to do that stuff!
