Humbled

Morning friends! I know...can you believe it? I have posted three days in a row! I'm not sure about tomorrow though so don't get all excited...lol!

I decided that I would like to make a special card for Jon before he leaves for basic. I am always amazed when a person (male or female, my family member or not) is willing to volunteer their lives (literally because it isn't a job it is a lifestyle) to serve in the military. Anyway, proud mama moment aside, I wanted to make Jon a card, plain and simple! So, here it is! Oh, and Jon flies out one week from today...*sniff*.

I used Jen's Sketch For You To Try for the week and Verve's new set called American Hero. I want you to know I LOVE the new set's sentiments...you should check it out!

Alright...that is it for today. We are off to do a little shopping...maybe some Michael's...woohoo! And I might see if my WalMart has some of the Cricut Lite cartridges. Have I ever mentioned that I love shopping? Oh, yeah...I do!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Hi Lorie... this is sooo AWESOME! I just love that sentiment, and those stars really POP off your card. They also match your imbossing folder to a "T"! How'd you do that?!!! LOL. Anyway, Verve has some really neat sets out, and this is no exception. Thanks for sharing, and THANK YOU to your son Jon. Many blessings for strength and SAFETY as he serves our country.
