new look and achoo!

Morning ladies! I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday...I sure did! The weather was perfect for Todd and I in Leavenworth and we totally enjoyed our day together! We'll be going back for a couple of days in July for our anniversary...can you tell we really like it there?

Anyway...WELL...what do you think? Do you love my new blog look as much as I do? I contacted Michelle Laycock a couple of weeks ago and asked her to please put me on her list and last night was the night for the install. She was SO patient with me as I changed little things around and got it to look, well...like me! I really wanted you all to come to my blog and just feel peaceful and at home as you are all like family to me!

Now, I know you'd prefer to hear about my project so onto that! A couple of days ago on the SASI blog Laurie Schmidlin did a tutorial for these super cute tissue holders. This being a high pollen count time in my area I thought it would be perfect to make one or two of these to have on hand so I can give them to people who are really suffering from allergies.

You can see that I really leaned on Laurie's version to craft this one but hers is SO cute...how do you not CASE it? Anyway, everything I used to make this tissue holder is from Taylored Expressions and all of the papers are from the May Key Ingredients kit. It is such a beautiful kit! I love it! The image and sentiment is from TE's set called Doctor's Orders...sick cupcakes...too cute! You must know that this holder is SO easy to put together that it took me less than about 30 minutes to do the entire thing and that includes distractions from the hubby and kids!

I Just want to share what my By the Light of the Psalms calendar said yesterday...

Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us. Psalms 40:17
(People will wonder why I look so good today!)

The second line is the little comment they put on the calendar and is usually very cute...don't ya just love it!

Don't forget...only one more day to make a card with my sketch for the limeLIGHT anniversary party!

Well, I'll leave you with that today. I hope you have a wonderful Thursday!

Thank you for your "running" thougths. Isn't it funny that WE don't have running/runner stamps. I appreciate the thought.
