together forever

Morning everyone! It is going to be a beautiful Saturday here...up to 80 and full sun...woohoo!

At my stamp club every other month we do a card swap with a different theme. This month we made cards with a wedding/anniversary theme and this is my card. Since most of my stamp club ladies don't have a bunch of SU! wedding stuff I told them to use as much SU! as possible but it was okay to use other company's products as well.

I've been seeing beautiful cards made with the new SU! Textured Impressions Manhattan Flower die for the Big Shot. I just got it a couple of weeks ago and was really wanting to use it so I grabbed it out and used it to make this simple but pretty card. The only thing that isn't SU! on this card is the little Tiny Twinkle as the center of the flower in the sentiment.

I have another card I made with this die to show you next week that I think you are going to love. Speaking of next week...it is an exciting week with the Sweet N Sassy Blog Hop (info to come to my sidebar soon) as well as a limeLIGHT product and sketch challenge. Fun stuff!

Have a super day everyone!

Card Deets:
Stamps: Forever (SU! single)
Ink: Certainly Celery
Paper: Whisper White, Certainly Celery
Accessories: White Satin Ribbon, Scallop Oval Punch, Scallop Punch, Taylors Tiny Twinkles

Lorie this is stunning hun! WOW What a fantastic card! I love it!!!! Hey, do you know if that manhattan flower folder will fit in the Cuttlebug? I really want to order it...but I know some of the dies that SU has don't fit in the Cuttlebug and I know the texture plates don't fit in the cuttlebug so I want to make sure this flower folder will before I order it. Thanks so much for the info! Hope you are enjoying your weekend hun!
Hugs~ Kim

Love this Lorie...specially in this green color! :) Very elegant. You said, "Die" but it looks embossed. I don't get it? Is it a cut out and mounted on there? or is it a dry embossing folder kind of thing?

Anyway, YAY for good weather! Today was really nice. Do you have plans for Monday? We were invited to the lake to try out the new innertube but hubby thinks the water's gonna be too cold and tooo busy! Party pooper! LOL
