november birthday card swap

Good morning ladies! How has your week been so far? By a show of comments...who has started (or even finished) their Christmas cards/projects? Yeah...at stamp club last night one of the lovely ladies has hers almost done...no fair! Guess I need to get to work!

I just wanted to show you the super simple card that I made for the birthday card swap we had at stamp club last night. To make the card a little more special I used Shimmery White cardstock for the white base. A Regal Rose cardstock base and ribbon complete the card. The stamp set is a Level 1 hostess set called Live Like You Mean It. Sometimes people have such a hang up with the number of their birthday that they forget to just live like it doesn't matter. Anyway, I hope to be able to show you the other swap cards over the next couple of days...I just need to take the time to photograph them today.

I have been working on a pretty neat Christmas present the last couple of days that I'm almost ready to show you so stay tuned!

So take the day and turn it into something wonderful!

That shimmery paper is beautiful, right? I love it! Your card is really pretty. I still have full intentions of sending you a b-day card...an EXTREMELY late b-day card. I have some time off next week so I should be able to make you a little sumpin' sumpin' extra special. Speaking of which, i can't wait to see what you're going to post!
