Just thought I'd post a quick card for you today so you can get back to BBQing or whatever fun thing you have planned today.
Sweet N Sassy stamps had a new release party last night on their new forum and the first challenge was to use orange, black, and white. Orange? Yikes! Orange is not a color I use often nor is Halloween a holiday I make cards for (fall/autumn yes...but didn't have stamps out for that) at all so what to do? Use a scripture, SU! Hawaiian Papaya (I think that is the name) designer series paper along with some embellishments. So...what do you think? It is probably one of the quickest cards I've ever made that is for sure! I already have a recipient in mind for it so I must have done something right!
So...there you go...a quick card and now you are off to enjoy the day with your family! See you all tomorrow with my Created by Courtney Challenge for this week!

I think you did a great job! I really like your ribbon a lot, and the way you did piercing at opposite corners. It looks great!
You did a great job! The black is so pretty against the orange and white. I really like the paper piercing around the scripture, the dots and dashes with the white gel pen, and the three brads... and the scalloped edges looks like velvet against the white! Well done! ~ Jane
THis is just beautiful! I LOVE red, white and black together. . .so sharp!
Fabulous job Lorie! Such a great design layout and I love the black accents. That ribbon is perfection! TFS
Wow! This is gorgeous! I love the dp paired with that patterned ribbon--just beautiful! :D
Lorie you did an amazing job with those colors! Orange isn't one that I use often either! LOVE the ribbon....I think I bought 5 rolls of it from Michael's when I saw it!
