So, have you guys ever seen FireCracker Designs? I'm not sure how I ended up at their store but I did and I bought a couple of things including a coffee set that has this fun mug, sentiment, and coffee rings. It is called Escape the Daily Grind should you so wish to go take a look at it.For this card I used the same Mojo Monday layout as the Dreams Du Jour card but to incorporate in some embossing for the 3 Little DReaMs challenge I embossed the coffee cup with embossing powder that smells like coffee! Very fun! Just as a side note...COPICS will smear your embossing. I thought I had read that they won't but they did in this case (just check out the cup handle). I also used some Tim Holtz Distress Ink. Kind of a fun effect for the coffee rings and such. Recipe for this card can be found below.
Yes, the yard sale went well, our dinner went well, and I guess that means a pretty successful Saturday, huh? I don't have much for plans today but Todd seems a bit busy after church so I may have to help him out. Otherwise...I want to create!

Cute card! The coffee rings are too funny. I have to go back and check out that website now - I'd never heard of them. And who knew? about copics and embossing. I would have thought that would have been safe since it was heat set. hmph. Learn something new every day! But you know, despite knowing this, I'll still try it the next time I emboss just to see for myself. I'm such a dork! lol!

That card is GREAT! I got home yesterday. BOY do I have some cleaning to do! How do I make myself clean...and not stamp! ha ha ha. I think your card gives me the answer :) August is gonna be a busy month with school starting MONDAY!
