belli challenge #28

Good morning stampers! Today is Wednesday and what does that mean? Yep, Belli Challenge day! Woohoo! This weeks challenge is called Contain It! Let me tell you about my tin (as easy as it is) and then more about the challenge.

As you see on the right I just used a tin that I had in my tin box (yes, I have a box of tins of different shapes and sizes). I decided rather than making this a square tin I'd go ahead and decorate it on an angle for something different. My idea was to make this easy enough that anyone would feel like they could make it too. Soooo...the patterned paper is 3/4" by about 8 1/2" and adhered with sticky tape. I then put a strip of sticky tape around the patterned paper and added the ribbon with a knot. The flower on the top was put together with die cuts and pop dots. That is it. Easy schmesy lemon squeezy!

Inside I placed a piece of Ghirardelli chocolate and some Prima flowers. You just never know when something like this might be offered up for blog candy so you might want to be checking back!

And, onto the deets of the Belli Challenge. Each week, Chris tries to give us a challenge that will get us using things we have lying around our stamp rooms! With a constant flow of new things coming out, we tend to forget about the other things we have and they quickly become clutter! Come join us in the Belli Challenge and be sure to post your link to Chris's website!

This Weeks Belli Challenge is Contain It! You can do many things with a container...a tin like myself, a 2 liter bottle, you could even make your own container. Think outside the box!

Best part is...there is a prize to be awarded. Make up something with a container, upload it to SCS with the Keyword CBC28 and then link it to Chris's blog and you'll be in the running to be featured on Chris's blog AND be a guest designer for the Belli Challenge on a week of your choice! Woohoo! Link me up too so that I can see!

The other players this week are below...

Holly Brown
Shelly Koskinen
Laurie Serino
Christi Thorsen
Rochelle Wick
Ceal Pritchett
Debby McGivillary (not up yet but keep checking back!)
Chris Dickinson

Guess what I got yesterday? Yep, a copy of my new SU! catalog...woohoo for me! Hopefully those that I ordered will arrive soon!

Come back tomorrow and see the invitation I'm helping a friend make for her daughter's 1st birthday! Have a great Wednesday!

Love the Tin! Your color combos are great and adding the "on the angle" twist adds something different.

Very nice! I need to do more things like these. I like how you got a lot of wow for relatively little work. And I think it's cool that you left the top open for a little teaser. :)
