bettina buttercream

Good Saturday morning everyone! Here is a card with Bettina Buttercream that I made for my friend, Debby's, birthday on Wednesday last week. The card stock colors don't look very good here but it really was quite lovely together. The pinkish color is Bazzil Bling paper and the purple is PTI Plum Pudding...just beautiful together! I used my Cuttlebug with the birthday embossing folder added some DP and ribbon and voila! It was done. Now what you can't see is all the bing on the card...Bettina's wings have glitter, the cherries are glittered, the embossed area has glitter it is really quite shimmery in real life. I was little intimidated to color her but she was quite fun and I have to say that I had fun with the image! Looking at it now I see some thing that I could have added to it but I procrastinated to long making it and needed to be done. Now...if my Stamping Bella order would just arrive so I can give her the bottle of Bella Dots that I got her!

Kyler is safely home from camp and I'm a bit ticked. The nurse did not give him is medicine likes she was supposed to and he has had some pretty bad reactions to the mosquito bites that he got. I put pictures on my family blog if anyone is really interested in seeing just e-mail me and I'll send ya a link. Poor guy! He said it was fun but doesn't want to go back just because of the bugs. He wore bug spray the entire time he was gone, too! As a matter of fact...the smell was still on him after he showered last night! I won't go into it to much to suffice it to say I'm quite frustrated with the camp right now!

Hopefully today will be a day when I get to work with my new SU! stuff. It has been sitting here looking at me but I do have some other things to get done today soooo...we'll have to see!

I hope you all have a fantastic Saturday and have lots of time for crafting!

Totally CUTE card :)

What is it with the nurse thing??!! I swear it's like that all over these days. arrrghh! My grandaughter's daycare somehow "missplaced" her SVN machine(asthma)and NEVER told my daughter! So Kylee was NOT getting her daily treatments! Can you believe it! Finally my daughter noticed Kylee getting tight with her breathing...(she's 3) and asked if they were giving her treatments. That's when they told her it was lost! They found it finally..in another classroom...and were using it on ANOTHER KID!

This is a cute card! I think everything works well together, and especially like the satiny ribbon. Such a pretty color.

Sorry about the bites. :( My church camp didn't even *have* a nurse, but I suppose in some ways that might be better than an incompetent one, eh? ugh. Hope he's feeling better soon.

Cute card...I love purples! I am so sorry they didn't help Kyler. Doesn't that make you sad. Hopefully he will be still willing next year! Camp is fun!

Wow, great card, in fact I love the cards on your blog and the B&B in Leavenworth. My sis, sil,two nieces and I are going there the 7-9th of Sept. but we are staying at Mrs. Anderson's Lodging House - it has a quilt store attached and most of my family quilts.
hugs,

Sorry to hear about Kyler. Skeeters can be a real pain - I don't get bit much, but my mom gets HUGE welts from hers - I guess he's just sweeter than most kids!! LOL!! Hope he feels better soon.

I love getting my new SU orders too! I know you will make great things!
