first in a series...

Today's card is the first in a series of six Stamping Bella cards that I'll be showing you. I think I mentioned that my co-worker, Debby (hi debby!) challenged myself and another co-worker to an office challenge. She gave us four images and challenged us to make two cards with each image and then we swapped them. Okay, Debby and I have. Stephanie is busy a new grandma so we'll let her slide for now! LOL!

So, what I'm going to do is show the cards that I made with each image and the the card that Debby has made with the images. I have 6 total so that should (including the one day break for Father's Day) get me to the end of my trip. Hopefully the scheduling thing works correctly through blogger.

I am starting with Tutuface 'cuz I think she is just adorable and I can live my little girl dreams out through her. She is pretty simple and straight forward. The papers and die cuts are from the SU! retired SSK called Just Delightful. She was colored (what color there is) with COPIC Markers and Frosted Lace Stickles. I added some Bella Baubles to the frame of the picture and decided the simplicity of the card makes it really cute.

Several of you have asked for the breakfast casserole recipe. I must first say that I think you should have joined Courtney's recipe swap (it is an ongoing thing...check it out HERE) but since you didn't I'll be nice and post it. Here you go...

Mom’s Breakfast Casserole
by: Cheryl Brookhiser

* ½ pound pork sausage, browned and drained
* 8 eggs – beaten
* 2 cups milk
* 6 slices bread (take off crust and cube) white bread works best
* 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (I like sharp cheddar)
* salt and pepper to taste

Grease 9 x 13 pan. Mix all ingredients together and pour into pan. Cover and let set in fridge overnight. Bake in morning at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes until eggs are set and lightly browned on top. Slice and serve with fruit and a steaming hot cup of coffee. Serves: depends on your portion size but at least 6 and up to 12.

If you try it let me know what you think! I am off to work on scheduling the rest of my posts for during my trip. Have a thankful Thursday (so thank someone for something they've done for you)!

Oh, and I keep forgetting to tell you guys that if you are a member of TripleLandC you should check it everyday as I try and do something each day there.
