Light of the World

Well, this is my first card with Daily Bread Designs new stamp set called...Light of the World. This is their first set but I hope not their last as it is a lovely set, it stamps so nicely, and I just love the scriptures. The store also has stickers, rub ons, designer paper (I bought some of that go figure!) and there are even links to their gallery, SCS's Bible Verse Challenge and their forum. It is a neat store so go check it out.

Thank you all for your comments on my last post. Kyler is doing much better this morning. He is a little hesitant about eating lunch today as he thinks the kids will make fun of him for being a little slow but I just tried to reassure him that it will be okay. He will be staying in from recess and PE this week so no accidental flailing arms hit him in the mouth. I'm sure it will all be okay. One of his friends yesterday told him the wire on his teeth "looks cool" so hopefully they will all be cool with it today. If not...I may have to call their mama's! Just kidding...I'll let the school deal with it...maybe!

Have a terrific Tuesday everyone!

What a beautiful card Lorie! I need to take a couple minutes and check this site out.

Sorry to hear about your son. What a bummer way to spend the day. Glad it's all OK now!

Oh poor Kyler, a mouth injury is always so painful, my son has gone through it a lot. Now about that card, that is gorgeous. I love Lighthouses. My home is filled with them, reminds me of the Cape where I spent my summers with family. Also Lighthouses are a symbol of hope for me as my middle child is Autistic and God's light has helped me navigate my way through this hard path with my child. Your card is very inspiring and moved me deeply. Beautiful work as always Lorie.
Take care, glad to hear Kyler is recouping.

Absolutely beautiful Lorie!! Glad to hear Kyler is doing better too. I am so sorry his teeth are dead though. Look at it this way, he will have some beautiful new teeth soon.
Hugs with lots of squeeze to you and please know that I am praying for you and Kyler!
