Good Sunday Morning Everyone!
Today I want to show you my new Scor-Pal, how to use it, and a card I made with it. First of all this thing is so easy to use! For the purpose of taking the pictures I had Jon actually use the Scor- Pal. The first picture is of the Scor-Pal itself and the tool that you will use to make the score (it is in the upper right hand corner). The nice thing is that I got an extra tool that is taped to the back side of the Scor-Pal that I intend on leaving there so that I don't lose it! :o) It is a nice light weight which makes it even more convenient.
First, you place your paper on the Scor-Pal in the direction that you need in order to make the score that you'd like. For this demonstration I am just scoring a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 piece of card stock in half to make the standard size card of 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.
Here is the easy part...just place the tool (straight up and down) in the groove of the Scor-Pal and start to run the tool down along the card stock. It will flow very easily. I was worried at first that I would go off the track and ruin the card stock but indeed the groove is the perfect depth and I would have had to really work at it to mess it up!
I realized after I took the pictures that I wanted to show the gate fold and should have taken picture of that instead BUT you know what is great? The direction for the gate fold and 3 (I think) other folds are right on the package. It literally only took me seconds to score for this gate fold because the Scor-Pal is so easy to use and the directions are so clear! Scor-Pal has a fantastic website where you can go get directions for new folds and see what other people have created. You can view that HERE. The card I made to show you is a gate fold that I made for Todd. Not very fancy but you get the idea!
So...quickly, go to the Scor-Pal website and purchase one for yourself...you'll not regret it!

Very cute card! I think I need a scor pal! Also, great heading to your page! Needing a change???
Thanks for sharing this with us.
Did you order an extra scor tool?
I have this great Scor Pal, but I didn't get an extra scor piece.
I just used it yesterday to scor a flap for a card 3/4! It works perfectly. I had 16 cards to do, and zip...they were done. I highly recommend this also.
Blessings...Denise
