my lunch but those things won't take too long, right? I have a card that I made last night that I want to show you. Most of you know that my 15 y/o son plays golf. Well, SU! has a new sports type of section that has stamps for baseball, basketball, football, golf, and hockey. Each set has 3 or 4 stamps in it. I jumped on the chance to purchase Just Golf (they are all priced at $12.95) so I can make Jon cards with it. That is until it arrived. I mounted it, sat down to make a card and promptly thought...what am I going to do with a golf club, golf ball, and the word 'fore'. My first try was a disaster (although I still think it is a good idea...I just have to figure out how to make it work!). The second try wasn't as bad. I used all three stamps and just made a collage type of card. I kinda like it and more importantly Jon will feel special that I made a card just for him. You can see how I made it by going HERE. I like this card - & I "need" to get the golf set. Thanks for showing one that I would feel comfortable making.
I like that it is simple... yet... "manly"... and totally original! Great card!
