McMahon 5 Designs Day!

Good morning. Time for a fun McMahon Five Designs release! Today, my card is all about cupcakes!

My main image is made with Studio 313's new release called Princess Cupcake. Well, I have accumulated some fun cupcake accessories so I got to put them to good use! This card is very clean and simple AND perfect for several occasions since I didn't put a sentiment on it.

Now, onto the rest of the release...enjoy and don't forget to visit the rest of the design teams blogs and leave them some love!

Celebrate Freedom!

Welcome to Tuesday everyone! Remember I told you yesterday that I was going to work on getting my office at work all cleaned up and ready to move? Well...with the help of my husband I got it all done! In a couple of weeks I'll be able to move into an office on the main floor (I've been in the loft) where I'll be more accessible to parents and kids alike. I'm very excited about this move! Thank you, Todd, for your help...you 'da bomb!

Okay, onto new release day with Doodle Pantry! Today Doodle Pantry is releasing two brand new sets, two previously released sets and a set of beautiful digi papers. How is that for exciting? When I first saw the Firecracker Bugs set I knew I'd have to be making my card for the new release with it. Go figure, right? Anyway, the card is made not only with one of the super cute images from the set but also with both of the digi papers from the set. I've also posted the entire set so you can see what you'll be getting when you purchase it. My card layout is from Crazy 4 Challenges this week.

Can you stand some more excitement? Well, Doodle Pantry is turning one this week and there are specials to be had. From April 5th - April 10th all product purchases (excludes gift certificates) will be 40% off! Just use the coupon code HBDP4U. Click HERE to find out more. Make sure you go to the Doodle Pantry Blog to see all the new releases and what my very talented design team sisters have made!

Alright...have a wonderful day everyone! See you Thursday!

A Birthday Blog Hop

Hello friends! It is kinda strange to see me post twice in a day and so late in the day none the less but I had to participate in a special birthday blog hop!

Today (April 5th) is the Korin's, owner of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, birthday so we (her design teams) thought it would be fun to do a little hop, hop, hop to help her celebrate!

I have used the Bethany image from Holding Flowers Bethany for my card as well as The Sweet Stop sketch for this week. I started off thinking this card would be all bright and super birthday party-ish but ended up with a more laid back 'happy day' birthday card.

Korin!

Since this is a birthday blog hop you'll want to hop right on over to Taylor's blog HERE to see her happy birthday greeting! If you get lost along the way just head back to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps blog to figure out where to head to next. Have fun!

A Muse Monday

Good Monday morning friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Did anyone get to work outside? We thought about it but decided not to at this point although I do need to weed my flower gardens already. There are more weeds then signs of growth...ugh!

Anyway, today is A Muse Monday and I have a fun card to show you. This image is an older A Muse Artstamps image called Honeymooners and I thought it would be perfect for the wedding card I will need this summer. The sentiment is from the new A Muse Studio Essential Sentiments set. I love the script of the sentiment...so pretty! Sorry about the not wonderful photo. I had a hard time with the shimmery white paper for some reason. I made the card following the Clean & Simple Challenge for this week. I didn't follow it exactly but I think it is close enough.

I've got a busy week planned. My office is moving at work so I need to get everything packed up and ready to go for Saturday...the official move out of the office day. I don't think I'm going to get moved into my new office prior to leaving for our cruise next week so I have a lot more work to look forward to when I get home. Oh, well...the new office is worth it!

Well, you all have a wonderful Monday! I'll see you back here tomorrow for TWO posts and then not again until Thursday.

Monkey Birthday

Happy Saturday everyone! I love Saturday (especially when the sun is out!) but today I love it even more. We are going to a birthday party today for our friend's little guys 1st birthday. It will be cute I'm sure!

So Wren, the birthday boy, is quite the monkey (in fact mom is making monkey cupcakes for today) so I thought I'd continue the theme with my card and bag for his gift.

I found the image on the card when I was blog surfing the other day. I knew right away I would use it for Wren's birthday card so I purchased it, down loaded it and then colored it up to make this card! The layout is from Limelight Papercrafts challenge for this weekend but also fits the Totally Papercrafts challenge of One For The Boys and Stamp Somethings Digi Day challenge.

Then I decided I would use the green bag that has been sitting on my desk for awhile but couldn't just leave it plain. I had just downloaded a monkey SVG from SVG Cuts a couple of days ago and knew it would be perfect so I cut that along with 'happy birthday' and just threw the bag together. It is perfect for the gifts we got for him...a pair of shoes (he doesn't care for shoes but mom wants him to start getting used to them) and a cup that goes in the freezer and then keeps the liquid super cold...a frosty mug like dads. Fun stuff shopping for a 1 year old!

So, that is all I have for you today. I hope you have a super wonderful weekend!
