Going Grey Challenges

Hello! Welcome to Tuesday's Going Grey by Scrap-Creations challenge post. This week's challenge was to make a Christmas Gift or Gift Holder.

I made several of these, what I'm calling, note holders for gifts this year. The flowered patterned paper portion of the note holder is metal under the paper and then the flower square has a magnet on the back so that a note can be held to the base. It sits up by a little dowel into a hole in the back. I should have taken a photo of this with a note on it...sorry about that!

I first painted the bottom portion of the holder with white acrylic paint then used Paper Trey Ink patterned paper to decorate it with. The flower is made with a Stampin' Up! die put through my Big Shot. The center has a flower base with a Websters Pages Sparkler in the very center.

I actually made five different note holders which I'll share with you throughout the next couple of weeks. All have different colors and themes. They were quite fun to make!

So...you must go check out what my design team sisters have made...they are wonderful, as usual! I'll link you up to their blogs individually below.

New Bible Study

I just thought I'd share with my blogging friends a video of the study I'm going to be doing with some friends comes this January. Maybe this is something you'd be interested in doing with your church or group of friends. Check it out!

Critter Sketch Challenge

Good morning everyone! It will be good to be back to blogging this week! I've had some time to get things back in the groove and thank you for being patient.

Today's card is for this week's Critter Sketch Challenge and it is indeed a sketch challenge with a special color challenge thrown in there too. The colors are teal and purple. I went with Taken with Teal and Rich Razzleberry which my camera had a horrible time picking up...ugh!

Anyway, out sponsor this month is Bugaboo who has a ton of super cute images that you should check out HERE!

Now I know you want to check out what the sketch is and exactly what you can win this month over at Critter Sketch Challenge Blog so be certain to go HERE to check that all out and see what all the design teams members created.

Go...have fun! See you tomorrow for Going Grey with Scrap-Creations and our challenge for the week.
