more birthday card swap cards

Good Saturday morning friends! I hope everyone has had a chance to sign up for the blogaversary loot that I'm giving away. If not...just scroll up and you'll see it! I just thought I'd give some kudos to the ladies in my stamp club group and show you the wonderful cards that they made for the birthday swap. Enjoy!

The card above was made by the fabulous Miss Dani. Dani, like all the ladies in my stamp group, is a friend of mine and she just has such a special place in my heart. I {heart} Dani...okay, I {heart} all of my stamp club!
The above card was made by Debby. Do you not LOVE the girl colors and the glitter? How about that wonderful gate fold? Super FUN!
Last for today is Janel's card. Too stinkin cute and wonderful for a guy or girl...yay! That cake just looks delish!

See, I told ya my girls are so talented! You'll see the last set of cards on Monday. Tomorrow is Page Plans day so stay tuned for that! Have a great Saturday everyone!

november birthday card swap

Good morning ladies! How has your week been so far? By a show of comments...who has started (or even finished) their Christmas cards/projects? Yeah...at stamp club last night one of the lovely ladies has hers almost done...no fair! Guess I need to get to work!

I just wanted to show you the super simple card that I made for the birthday card swap we had at stamp club last night. To make the card a little more special I used Shimmery White cardstock for the white base. A Regal Rose cardstock base and ribbon complete the card. The stamp set is a Level 1 hostess set called Live Like You Mean It. Sometimes people have such a hang up with the number of their birthday that they forget to just live like it doesn't matter. Anyway, I hope to be able to show you the other swap cards over the next couple of days...I just need to take the time to photograph them today.

I have been working on a pretty neat Christmas present the last couple of days that I'm almost ready to show you so stay tuned!

So take the day and turn it into something wonderful!

belli challenge 42

Good morning stamping friends! I hope you all had a super Tuesday! I had Bible study last night and it was wonderful!

Today is Belli Challenge #42 and is all about Tags! You know what I love about Belli Challenges...Chrissy lets us take the challenge in whichever way we'd like and I'll tell ya what...it works so well. Each of us Belli Girls do something different...FUN!!!

Anyway, here is my tag for today. I found directions for this super cute Santa on the Stampin' Up! demonstrator website (and I would give directions but I am working up a class for these and some other fun things so no directions right now but I bet you can figure it out!) and knew I had to use it to make this fun gift bag or gift tag. I apologize for the horrible picture but...don't you just LOVE him...seriously...and we don't even "do" Santa at our house. Anyway, the Wild Wasabi card is 3" x 3" and the Santa is popped up with dimensionals. I used a little bit of silver cord from a couple of years ago but this years elastic cord is FABULOUS (you will see it later this week I hope). This just make me smile!

Want to see the what the other Belli Challenge girls have for you? Here are the links...

created by courtney challenge #14

Today is Veteran's Day. Whether young or old ALL of our Veteran's deserve our thanks so please take time to thank a Veteran today!

Happy stampin' Tuesday! We have another fun challenge from Courtney today...can you guess from my project what it is? Nope, not ornaments but chipboard. What is chipboard on this ornament? The small scalloped square. Isn't this fun? I would love to say that I came up with this idea myself but that would be lying. The fabulous Beate John's had THIS ornament on her blog not to long ago so I just changed it up a little. Thank you so much Beate! Actually, I hope that my stamp club members like this as they will be doing a version of this at club on Wednesday!

You can see all the size measurements on Beate's blog. I used some Frosty Day designer paper from SU! along with the SU! set Mr. Twigster and a Felt Flurry snowflake to make this ornament. This is SO easy to make that I have plans to make and send or give them to a large number of my friends and family. I'll change them up so they aren't the same paper and such but these will make great little gifts!

If you'd like to join in on this chipboard challenge just make something with chipboard, upload it to SCS (with CBCC13 keyword) or your blog and then link it to Courtney's blog HERE for a chance to win a little giftie from her! Also, make sure you check out the other challenge chicks (links in my sidebar) to see what fabulous things they've come up with! Note there are two new chicks to our challenges!

I just finished up my Belli Challenge for tomorrow and am excited about that one too so make sure you stop back! Have a super day!

high hopes cutie

Good morning! I hope that you all had an absolutely wonderful weekend and got everything done that you needed to!

I had a fun time stamping and getting some things done. Today's card is a cute High Hopes image that my friend Bela sent me. I know this is probably supposed to be a boy pirate but I figured if I colored it pink and added some hearts it could be a girl...right? Anyway...sometimes I'm a dork. I got this super cute pirate paper and then chose an image and layout (love the layout though!) that doesn't really show it. Duh for me! Either way I really like the black/pink combination and the pirate/anchor (the anchor is all sparkly!) pair is cute too. Now the only question is who to send this cute pink card too (probably not you huh Jen? lol!).

Tomorrow is Created by Courtney Challenge day and I'm excited to show you my project. I know you'll want to join in on this fun challenge! Wednesday night is my stamp club so I'll be showing you those cards/project after that. Stay tuned everyone!

I hope you all have a wonderful Monday and create something fun!

Oh, oh, oh before I forget...go check out THIS fantastic project...it is gorgeous!

page plans week 30

Good Sunday morning everyone! As you know I love sketches so therefore I really look forward to Sundays! As you know Sunday is Page Plans day on my blog. This week's sketch is wonderful and the card I wanted to make came to mind almost immediately. Hope you like it!

Although this card looks like it would be difficult it really isn't. I used a wonderful piece of patterned paper from SU!'s Ski Slope DSP pack along with a piece of Baja Breeze card stock for my main panel. The BB card stock was stamp in BB ink with the snowflake from the stamp set Winter Post which is new in the Holiday Mini. As you know I love the Felt Flurries as from the Holiday Mini so I had to use them again. I anchored them with a couple of brads , added a length of Chocolate Chip Poly Twill (retired from SU!). The sentiment is from the Best Yet Level 1 hostess set from SU! All of that is layered on a piece of white card stock from PaperTrey Ink (my favorite white card stock!). This would be a seriously easy and impressive card to send for Christmas.

I don't often mention the other members of the Page Plans Design Team so I thought I'd list them for you today so you can go check them out. Don't forget that Page Plans has scrap booking sketches too so you'll see some of those as well (I'm always impressed by them!).

I got a quite a bit of stamping done yesterday including my Created by Courtney Challenge...that, by the way, I can't wait to share with you on Tuesday. I also finished a fun High Hopes card that I will share with you tomorrow. You also have Belli Challenge day on Wednesday to look forward too. Although I haven't made my project for that yet I do have it all planned out!

I hope that you get a ton of stuff done today, whatever is on your plate! Have a super day!
