Graduation

Happy Friday everyone! This week went SUPER fast for me. How about you? There are things that I haven't gotten done yet that I'd still really like to get to but I'm not sure that will happen. Such is life, huh?

Anyway, I thought I would post the card I made for Jon for his graduation. I haven't even given it to him yet because I was sorting out in my head what I wanted to write inside. As it is I took up more than half of the inside and could have written more but I needed to leave room for Todd to write something too.

You know what I hate about when I stamp sometimes? When I look at something and think to myself...I should have done it "this" way. I did that will the "class of" stamp. I should have just bent the stamp to go "around" the image at the top instead of straight across. Maybe next time.

Well, there you have it. I hope he likes it! Have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend everyone!

Wonderful grad card, Lorie!! I am sure Jon will love it!
I do the same thing. Look at the card after I am done and say I either should have left something off or I should have done something else.

Hi Lorie... GREAT card! I think the "class of" looks great -- esp. between those lines on the sides. My nephew is graduating right now as I type!! I didn't get to go as tickets were limited and of course all the grandparents went. And I have to admit that I bailed on making any cards. We sent him a singing store-boughten one instead. I know, I know! Shame shame on me, LOL! I even printed a cute girly graduation one last Wed. and only had 1 hour to make a card before I went to my daughter's 5th grade graduation and figured I wouldn't have time so I bought her one too! And the digi sits on my desktop. Anyway, KUDOS TO YOU for making his card. It looks great! =)

This is wonderful- just the way it is! The straight lines provide a nice contrast for the rounded image mat. Great job!
