Inky Impressions 2nd Design Team Call

Morning everyone! If you can't tell this is my Inky Impressions Design Team blog entry. If you haven't seen the images before I know you're going to love them! Each of the girls has such cute expressions. I have come to find that I love coloring more detailed images such as these.

The challenge that was put out for the design team application was a color challenge. The colors are Chocolate Chip, Purely Pomegranate, Kiwi Kiss, and Baja Breeze. Beautiful combination but you guys know how much I love my patterned paper but there is no patterned paper with those colors so....I used my Big Shot along with some impression plates to make some interest in the paper. This image, Angelica, is my absolute favorite! I love the hearts and her hair?!? Beautiful!

The other card is made with LiLi. Another completely adorable image with the expression and hair! I'm always needing birthday cards but never have them so it will be good to have her in my stash.

Now, it is also asked of those of us applying for the design team to show our favorite card and favorite project. My favorite card recently is HERE even if it wasn't well commented on. My favorite project recently is HERE.

So, there you go! I hope you enjoyed this little peek into my design team submission. Wish me luck!

AWESOME JOB Lorie!! WOW...I'm so in love with these adorable stamps, you just really can't go wrong!! LOL. You did an EXCELLENT JOB with this color combo, which I thought was kinda hard to begin with? I'm one of your biggest fans... and I'll be very surprised if you don't make it on the DT--GOOD LUCK!! :)

Excellent cards! And of course good luck with the design team call. When I started stamping I never went for images like these. It was flowers and animals. But I find I turn more and more to images of people. Now if I could learn to color them better I'd be happy. LOL! Have a great day!

Hi Lorie, Oh my goodness..... I just realized that my comment from the other day obviously didn't go through. I am so sorry!!! I hope you understand, I feel horrible :(

Your cards are both really nice!!! Really like them both, but my fav is LiLi with her cake. Overall, love how clean they are yet still very appealing to the eyes! GREAT JOB!

Thanks so much for entering the Inky DT Call.....HUGS! Nicole (Inky's Mama) :)
