SURPRISE!

Happy Friday! Here we are at the end of a busy week once again but today I have something fun to share with you...a special New Release from Doodle Pantry!

The owner of Doodle Pantry, Laurie, decided she would release this super cute set called Quirky Dog just for you all today! How much do you love this super cute bulldog (I think)? You just know that I had to use his red, white, and blue self to make a card with for Jon right? And the 'ruff day?' sentiment...who doesn't have ruff days in Afghanistan so I thought would work perfectly! AND, the entire set of line images, colored images, and digital patterned papers (can I just say that I'm growing to LOVE digi papers?!?) are only $3! Can you believe it? Only $3! I love that!

Today is the Stock the Pantry challenge over at the Doodle Pantry blog too so make sure you hop on over there to see what that is all about!

You know what? I love this set so much that I'm going to give away a set to one of my readers! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post about what our troops mean to you. If you do not comment on what the troops mean to you then you are not in the drawing! I do not allow anonymous comments anymore so if you need to comment anonymously just send me an e-mail instead and I'll put you in the drawing! You will have until Sunday night at 5 p.m. PST to comment. While there is only one entry per person I would appreciate it if you'd tell your friends about this drawing so send 'em right over!

So...go, comment on this post, tell your friends about it and then have a wonderful Friday!

LOVE your card Lorie!! The patriotic colors are gonna be a huge hit for sure. =) Even the brown/red doggy's pretty darn cute himself. But I know you are in a military family so this set will come in handy I'm sure! Just remember... NO GLITTER! Heehee. Cute sketch too! Great job =)

This is a great, fun card. I love the sentiment, makes me smile. I did find out about the soldiers that lost their lives. Did you son know them? So, so sad and so young. My heart breaks everytime i hear those stories. I will be praying for your son and the rest of his unit.
The troops, what they do, they are my life. I am surrounded by it constantly and I don't know what I would do without them.

Such a cool card. I am ever so grateful to all our troops past and present. I have several members in our family who have served our country proudly, several uncles, 2 of which were POW's and earned purple hearts, my father a Marine rifle instructor to my nephew who served in Bosnia. I am so thankful for all the men and women who sacrifice so much for our freedom. Thanks for a chance to win. Dar

very nice of you to give Quirky away to one of your readers - no need to include me in your giveaway :) - but I too thank the troops who watch out for our way of life and protect us from those who would do us harm. God Bless them.
