Bronze Star Rose

Welcome to the weekend! Do you have lots planned today? I'm sure that one of the things on your list for today is to get your card done for my Inspiration Challenge that I posted HERE. You have until 6 p.m. this evening (pacific time) to make and link your project/card back to my blog to win two packs of Kaisercraft Rhinestones from limeLIGHT Papercrafts! Cool, huh? All of the details are on the blog post that you are linked up to above.

I know today isn't a craft post BUT I also know that I told you about the photography class I am taking at jessicasprague.com. This weeks assignment is to put our camera on Manual and take pictures. Our instructor also gave us a little secret about how to use Manual a little easier and that is how I got this picture of a Bronze Star rose out in my garden. Seriously, isn't it lovely? By the way...the only way I edited this photo is by reducing the size in PSE so it wouldn't be so large here.

Well, that is it for today. I really hope you'll go ahead and try my Inspiration Challenge! I'll be back tomorrow with a winner!

Great job on the photo. I have also learned some good tips on her blog. AND...did I tell you my daughter is all professional now with the photography stuff?! Yep...she is starting her 2nd year now with college classes. She has all the goodies set up in her house...just like a studio! FUN STUFF!
