okay...fine

Morning everyone! Why is it when I post that I'm not going to be back for a couple of day that I end up finding time to finish something I was working on? Too, weird!

Anyway, I have had this wonderful Dawdling Turtle stamp (and sentiment) from Paper Makeup for sometime and I just love him. His eyes are SO expressive and the sentiment...it is important for all of use to remember. So, when I found this super cute turtle paper I knew I had to use my sweet Dawdling Turtle. And, if you know me...I had to fit a couple of challenges into the card too. This works for both the PMS sketch (that I had to flip) and Kerry's challenge for this week. Go ahead and click on the links to find out what they are all about.

Alright...I'm back to working hard! Have a super Tuesday everyone!

Card deets:
Stamps: Dawdling Turtle
Paper: PTI White, PTI Brown, Three Bugs in a Rug Snips & Snail
Ink: PTI Brown
Accessories: White Gel Pen, Copic Markers, Nesties, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Up! Clips Assortment

Hi Lorie,
Great turtle card. He is so cute! Did you paper piece his shell? The polkadots are really cute!
Thanks for the comments about Dan's graduation invitations. There is a reason for the rose. The name of the school is Rose-Hulman and they all call it Rose for short. So even thought the rose isn't very masculine, Dan really liked it. If he had graduated from any other school I probably wouldn't be using the rose. Thanks again for visiting. I really appreciate the comments and support! Hugs to you.

absolutely adorable turtle. I have been eyeing another turtle as well. I love the paper. It is so cute how the one blue turtle is peeking out in the corner. Great job!!!

He DOES kinda look like the turtle from Finding Nemo!!

I am in love with the patterned papers you used on this card! Seriously, they are divine. The one you used on his shell reminds me of mint chocolate chip ice cream!
Love also how you stamped the sentiment in white. So cute!

I love the paper piercing on this! And that sentiment is my new weight loss slogan. I just saw something on Noggin (lol!) the other day about the tortoise and the hare, and that was what they kept saying at the end... slow and steady wins the race. I'm trying to keep it in mind when I get frustrated about not losing weight as fast as I'd like to.
