page plans week 27

It's Sunday...wooho0! What does that mean? That is right...a new page plans sketch that you can see HERE. Remember how I said yesterday that today's artwork would be nothing like yesterday's? Well, am I right or what? The page plans sketch this week was to be a Halloween theme. I'm not much of a Halloween girl and only have a couple of sets that are specifically Halloween but I think this cat is cute and I really like the patterned paper.

Anyway, this stamp set is a SU! set called Haunting Halloween and the patterned paper is by Creative Imaginations (that I bought just for this card!). I have used Tangerine Tango for my base color and added Lavender Lace for the bottom panel (which has stars and "movement" on the panel but you can't really see it). The little bit of white layer really make the entire card pop. I have used my black and yellow Spica glitter pens for some wonderful sparkle. A little bit of black grosgrain and taadaa...a Halloween card! Whatcha think? Cute?

So...I just finished my Belli Challenge card for Wednesday and if I can say so myself, it is CaUTE!!! My goodness...I love it! In case you haven't figured it out...Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday's are my challenge team days and the rest of the week...free stamping...woohoo! Tomorrow I'll have a SNSS card for ya that is simple yet meaningful. Come back to see it!

And, now...if you've read this far I've decided that you deserve some Glory from Lorie. Since I don't send Halloween cards I thought I would give this card away. That and the rest of the patterned paper (which is cut into smaller, much smaller, pieces). I hope that you like the card enough to just leave me a comment with what your family traditions are for Halloween. Some people trick or treat, some fall festival, and some just don't do anything and all of it is okay. Just let me know...I'd love to hear! You'll have until Tuesday night to leave a comment.

With that...I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!

Way super cute! I love that SU set. We do the trick-or-treat thing usually in our neighborhood. When the kids were small we used to go to the Fall Fest at Church instead of the door-to-door thing. As they got older...they wanted go to all the neighbors to see all the decorations and some even set up haunted house stuff.

Happy Sunday/Monday Lorie :)

This is adorable! I have this set too but was just thinking the other day that I may get rid of it... hmmm..

Let's see... what do we do? We go to a fall festival at the church I work at. They have trunk or treat and games and such. We still feel "halloweened" even if we don't go door to door.

HUGS!

Our kids always went trick or treating to the downtown businesses and then we go to the Fall Festival at church. The Fall Festival is usally the best part of the night. This year since my boys are getting older, Dad and the older two are staying home and dressing up to pass out candy to the neighborhood kids and the youngest and I will go trick or treating and to the fall festival.
Tons of fun.

I think that is a great Halloween card. I am not much of a Halloween person either. I don't mind handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters though. Since having my boys we have dressed them up and only gone trick-or-treating once (last year). We have no idea what we are going to do this year. Our church is having a trunk-or-treat, we might do that and maybe some trick-or-treating on Halloween.

I LOVE fall but we don't do much for Halloween. Brandon dresses up and hands out candy. We decorate our front porch with a red light and play creepy music. The next door neighbors set up a scene in their garage and have done that for many years. We get quite a few trick-or-treaters -- which makes me happy. Not sure what he's going to be this year, last year he had an inflatable Elvis costume :)

Cute card!! I love that kitty!

I love halloween. I have two big bins full of decorations that I haul out, and am excited to take Henry trick or treating this year for the first time. :)

Cute card too, btw! That is one of my favorite SU stamp sets.

Oh my, that's cute! Fabulous job!

We don't do anything really exciting, just trunk or treating for the boys. When I was growing up though, our family watched Young Frankenstein every year on Halloween. It's still one of my favorite movies!
