sheetload of cards

As I promised yesterday...here is a picture of my SheetLoad of Cards. I started out with the sketch and measurements from the June copy of the eZine. I choose designer paper that I love from the Berry Bliss package making sure that all the pieces I was choosing could work together in some way and amazingly I did! For the solid card stock I used Purely Pomegranate and the base of the cards are all PTI white which is as we all know perfect due to the weight and ease of writing on it. I have a couple of birthday cards in there, a couple of encouragement, thinking of you, thank you, and a "hi" card. All but three of the cards were made with $1 stamps as directed in the eZine this month. It was a great idea...I'm very pleased and have already used two of the cards!

I would totally suggest that you go HERE and download this eZine. It also gives you directions for just one card and for doubling the recipe but I think I'll suggest they also type out the directions for only making half the cards. I think I would use it much more often if I were making just five.

Today we are going to Cruisin' for Hospice which is, as you've probably guessed, a car show/fund raiser for our Hospice Friends group. Jumping Car Todd and I went last year but he is working over time this morning and will head straight to bed when he gets home so the boys and I will go. I don't recall any of the cars looking like the one I have here but I thought it was funny! I still have to exercise before we leave so I should scoot!

Have a super Saturday!

Lorie, what great cards! Seeing all the cards you made with the Sheetload directions gives me the courage to make more than just the sample one next month. Have fun with your Hospice activity, just don't use too much gas while cruisin'!! Margaret

Those are great missy!! I need to get busy and use this Sheetload. I like to use the sketches for my stamp club. But I have only a hand full of dollar stamps. I must only buy expensive! LOL...

Hope you had fun at your car show today!
