Gift bag gone wrong?

I don't know girls? I wanted to take this gift bag and kick it up a notch. It holds the candy dish I showed you some time back for Kyler's teacher. Here is what I do like about it...I got to use my Nestibilities with it (lots of learning curve here and if someone reading this has them please e-mail me so I may ask you a question or two)...and I got to use my PTI set called Shapes By Design. I wanted to use the ribbon to close the bag and I do like the scallop circles but I'm not sure that I like them together. It looks almost like a ribbon, you know the kind you win in a race or something like that which I guess isn't bad but...well...I just don't know! I do love the colors (Wild Wasabi and Purely Pomegranate) though! So tell me...cute or ewwww?

For those of you doing the Bible study with me how is your reading coming? We have read about Eve, Sarah, and Rebekah at this point. God illustrates his grace and mercy with each of these women and it is a great comfort to me to know that no matter how I mess up, if I ask, he will forgive me. Praise God 'cause I mess up often! Remember our first chat e-mail will be tomorrow!

So, did you know it is Friday? Woohoo! I'm so thrilled! What do you all have cooking this weekend?

I like your gift bag. The colors are great, and the ribbon is nice threaded through the bag.

I do have the nestabilities, and I agree there is a learning curve..lol

I find it hard to cut out the image the first time thru the cb..and I am still learning the embossing...without cutting through the paper!!

Have a nice weekend! Chris

You are being too hard on yourself. Its not perfect but anyone would love to receive it. Its the thought that counts and you made it yourself.

You are just goofy Lorie! I think this gift bag is pretty cute. The ribbon is very elegant and the scallop circles look really good together. I think the colors look great with the bag color and I love how you threaded the ribbon through the bag. I think the recipient would be very happy to receive this.
Oh, and, as for this weekend. We're headed to Sacramento for a half marathon my DH is running in plus it's baseball opening day for my son tomorrow. Busy, Busy weekend! I hope yours is wonderful!
Hugs, Lorraine

It's awesome,I would of put the top of the bow the same width as the ribbon at the bottom. Love the 2 colors together!
